Glasgow pub to serve pints at two new outdoor areas on Buchanan Street after council bosses give go ahead

Glasgow pub will now be able to serve punters at two outdoor areas on Buchanan Street after getting the green light from council bosses.

The city's licensing board has granted permission for Gordon Street boozer Bier Halle to open the areas under temporary licences.

They will be able to sell alcohol at an area near to the police box on Buchanan Street and in space opposite All Saints. The licences will run until March 31, 2022 and allow the pub to increase their outdoor capacity.Both new areas can seat 40 people each while a current outside area on Gordon Street can hold around 120 guests.Indoors, the pub can hold 196 people.
