Girls Aloud are set to reunite for a special fundraising event in memory of Sarah Harding, who passed away last year. In a recent interview, singer Nadine Coyle broke the news that the girls would reunite in honour of Sarah, who died aged 39 - just one year after being diagnosed with breast cancer.
Nadine will be joined by bandmates Cheryl, Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts for a special one-off concert to raise money for medical equipment to help diagnose cancer sooner, in memory of pal Sarah.
Speaking to OK! magazine, Nadine said: "We’re planning a night for an event to raise money in honour of Sarah. "She’s very much in the forefront of our minds.""We want to raise money for a piece of medical equipment that helps diagnose cancer earlier so people can be treated.
We definitely want to do something to help others."Nadine said after Sarah became unwell, a lot of her energy became focused on her and that there were suddenly so many things happening that "were more important than anything else".Explaining that Sarah's death has been "so devastating", Nadine said that it still affects the band "deeply, to think about everything that she went through".
