Gio van Bronckhorst admits he was pleased to take three points from Dundee United - but the manager was less than impressed with a lacklustre Rangers performance.

The Premiership champions extended their lead over Celtic to seven points via James Tavernier 's penalty but toiled for long spells against a threadbare United.

Tannadice boss Tam Courts included 10 academy players in his squad following a Covid-19 outbreak at the club but United managed to largely frustrate their hosts until Scott McMann handled in the box.
