Perthshire residents are being asked to get their glad rags on to mark what should have been Ladies Day at Perth Racecourse.

The extravaganza - which attracts punters from all over the country - would have been this Thursday if not for the COVID-19 pandemic. But bosses at the racecourse are refusing to let that fact go unnoticed this week when two race fixtures are scheduled. And a virtual best dressed competition has been organised to give people an excuse to dress up to the nines.

The team at Perth have challenged all lovers of the Scone venue to enter into the spirit of the day and take part in the special competition by posting a picture of them looking “Ladies Day glam” - for a chance to win four grandstand tickets to 2022 Ladies Day.
