George R. R. Martin Didn't Meet 'House of The Dragon' Cast Until Comic-Con!

Fabien Frankel, Eve Best, Steve Toussaint, Matt Smith, Emma D’Arcy, Olivia Cooke, Paddy Considine, Milly Alcock, Emily Carey, and Ryan J.
Condal were joined by author George R.R. Martin for the panel discussion about the upcoming HBO series.
During the panel, it was revealed that George hadn’t met any of the stars of the series until this weekend.
According to Variety, he had been “very careful to keep himself very socially distanced during the COVID-19 pandemic”, so he has been at his home in Santa Fe, New Mexico for most of the duration of it. Emma and Milly, who play young and old versions of Princess Rhaenyra, and Olivia and Emily, who are the younger and older versions of Lady Alicent Hightower, also revealed that they developed the characters separately.
