Gabriel Jesus has been told that he still has a role to play at Manchester City despite Erling Haaland's imminent arrival. City announced earlier this month that they had come to an agreement with Borussia Dortmund for the transfer of the Norwegian striker.
This deal, however, is subject to the Blues and Haaland agreeing personal terms, although that is not expected to be an obstacle to the deal being completed.
Jesus meanwhile, who is City's only senior recognised centre forward, has been linked with a move to Arsenal. Reports last month suggested that the Brazilian's representatives had met with the Gunners over a potential transfer.
