Furious townsfolk feel cut off after phone mast blackout sparks signal woes

A furious Ayrshire community say they feel ‘cut off’ after months of mobile phone signal woes. Residents in Maybole have been struggling with a major service blackout for least three months leaving them unreachable or contactable in emergencies.A group has vowed to take on mobile giants O2 after being told of issues with the signalling mast.

The telecom company have now vowed to send out engineers to try and resolve the problem leading to communication chaos in the South Ayrshire town.

As a parent I want to be notified when it happens.“One of my girls also fell off her bike when she was out, they’ve got phones but they weren’t able to call me to tell me what happened.“
