A three-day weekend packed with royal events is taking place, as Britain celebrates the Coronation of King Charles III. Months of preparations will come to fruition as Charles and wife Camilla are crowned King and Queen at a historic Westminster Abbey ceremony.
The Archbishop of Canterbury will conduct proceedings on Saturday, May 6, with guests including US First Lady Jill Biden and French president Emmanuel Macron.
The day will end with members of the royal family appeared on the balcony at Buckingham Palace. But the action won't stop there - community Coronation Big Lunches and a special gig at Windsor Castle are scheduled for Sunday.
