Frightening fun at Halloween bash set to take place at Ayr night spot

A live music night synonymous with bringing top bands of the 80s to Ayr is throwing a spooktacular Halloween bash for guys and ghouls alike to enjoy.

It’s going to be a frighteningly fun evening as Powerhouse, which relaunched last month, is bringing its popular Halloween Hoolie to Ayr’s Venue38 on October 30, ahead of their scheduled Christmas Eve Bash in December.

The infamous Powerhouse nights ran from 1979 through to the 2000s and saw rock mad fans queue out the doors at Ayr’s Pavilion and latterly Nile Court to see their favourite bands live on stage.Entertainers included legends such as Iron Maiden, Def Leppard and Simple Minds.The Ayrshire Live app is available to download now.Get all the local news in your area – plus features,
