Coronavirus infection rates have risen in all ten of Greater Manchester's boroughs - and have hit record high levels in four of them.
Four boroughs now have rates higher than 1,000 cases per 100,000 people for the first time since the start of the pandemic. Trafford, Manchester, Salford and Stockport have record high cases currently.
It comes as six Manchester neighbourhoods have been revealed as 'Covid blackspots' - with some of the highest rates in the whole country. READ MORE: As of the week ending December 19, Trafford still continued to have the highest coronavirus infection rate in Greater Manchester.
The borough recorded a rate of 1,248.0 cases per 100,000 people in that week, according to the latest data from the UK Health Security
