Festive joggers get into the Christmas spirit an annual Jingle Bell Fun Run

Santas, reindeer, elves and lots of Christmas jumpers were on show as the 17th Active Communities Jingle Bell Fun Run took place.The event in Barshaw Park was back in-person after last year’s virtual race, with 450 runners taking part in the beautiful winter sunshine.There were two races, a 3k at 11am which was open to those aged eight and over and a 1k at 12noon which was open to all ages.Gill Mackay from Active Communities said: “Our Jingle Bell Fun Run was a huge success.
