Family of Reece Rodger to conduct “biggest search yet” for missing Highland Perthshire camper

The family of Reece Rodger has organised the “biggest search yet” for the camper who vanished nearly two weeks ago from the shores of Loch Rannoch.Hundreds of people are reported to have signed up to take part in the mass search of the area on Saturday and Sunday.The desperate attempts to trace Reece come as police on Tuesday announced two possible sightings of the dad-of-two.Reece, from Fife, disappeared from the north shore of Loch Rannoch, east of Killichonan, during a camping trip with his friends and was last seen by his companions on Saturday, March 18 at around 11.30pm.His friends thought he was heading to bed but on Sunday morning there was no trace of him and he was reported missing.Loved ones have spent many days in the Loch Rannoch area since, looking for him.Specialist searches are also being carried out by the Air Support Unit, the Dive and Marine Unit, police dogs and Mountain Rescue teams.Reece’s partner Paula set up a dedicated Facebook page ‘Please Help to Find Reece’ last week.And in a public appeal on Tuesday, titled “The biggest search for Reece yet – Saturday, April 1 and Sunday, April 2” she wrote: “Can we be out in force on Saturday and Sunday, please?“Let’s mark the second week of Reece’s disappearance with as many people as possible.“I need Reece home now.
