Family of 'loyal' Rangers fan who died near M9 plea for applause at Ibrox in her memory

Family and friends of a young Scots mum who tragically lost her life in an incident near the M9 have appealed for an applause at Ibrox in memory of the “loyal” Rangers fan.

Courtney McNiven, 24, tragically died on October 9 after emergency services were called to an incident on Bo’ness Road, Polmont at around 2am.

Friends and family paid tribute to the popular young mum on social media. Loved ones have now called on Rangers fans to applaud the mum at the 24 th minute of the match against Hearts at Ibrox on Saturday.
