An expert has revealed how often bedsheets should be changed, after Stacey Solomon sparked debate for revealing how often she switches her bedding.The Loose Women panellist was interviewed by Hits Radio host James Barr on Wednesday, who asked the presenter how often he should change his bed clothes?

The 33 year-old advised Barr that he should refresh them "once a week" but then quickly changed her answer to once a month after she saw his shock at her response.Her revelation has sparked controversy among social media users.

One Twitter user said: "Once a week is quite often? I usually do two weeks!" While another wrote: "Twice a week at least is normal for me!”Now, Martin Seeley, the CEO and sleep expert at MattressNextDay has revealed that Stacey is right to change her bedding every seven days, as they can harbour bacteria, the Express repots.“Despite her answer shocking radio listeners, Stacey Solomon is right.
