Motherwell coach and former Rangers star Maurice Ross blasted Celtic's formation after Old Firm derby day defeat last night.

The Steelmen reserve manager was brutal in his verdict about the back three of Shane Duffy, Kris Ajer and Stephen Welsh in the 2-0 loss at Parkhead.

When asked about where it went wrong for the Hoops on BBC Sportsound, the Fir Park coach didn't hold back. He told the BBC : "Look at the formation, 3-5-2, and how Celtic approached it; Rangers play in a flat 4-3-3.

The midfield are narrow, the forwards are narrow and you have Celtic playing with three at the back. "By the way Scott Brown drops in to take the ball off of £40,000 a week - so straight away Celtic are 6 v 10.
