Steven Gerrard

Steven George Gerrard MBE (born 30 May 1980) is an English professional football manager and former player who manages Scottish Premiership club Rangers.

He spent the majority of his playing career as a central midfielder for Liverpool, with most of that time spent as club captain, as well as captaining the England national team. Widely regarded as one of the greatest midfielders of all time,

Gerrard was awarded the UEFA Club Footballer of the Year award in 2005, and the Ballon d'Or Bronze Award. In 2009, Zinedine Zidane and Pelé said that they considered Gerrard to be the best footballer in the world.

Hollywood joined forces with the English Premiership League this week when Steven Gerrard enjoyed a night out with Will Ferrell.The Anchorman star was snapped having a drink with the ex Rangers boss, who proudly uploaded the image to social media.Gerrard, who currently manages Aston Villa, is having a break after the end of the season and ahead of his first full campaign in charge at Villa Park.So he's got some spare time to get together with some famous pals, but it leads us to wonder what they were talking about...Ferrell, of course, is a huge football fan and an avid follower of Chelsea FC.He's also a co-owner of Tinseltown side LAFC along with Mimi Hamm and Magic Johnson.So he definitely wasn't being schooled on the Off Side rule.Gerrard was clearly happy to be in the company of a movie icon, sharing the picture with fans on Instagram and excitedly captioning it: "As you do." alongside a red wine emoji.Fans and some famous faces from the football world were over the moon at the union of industry greats.Iain Wright said: "That looks like fun."Darren Fletcher added: "Love it."Irish coach Robbie Keane said: "Class."
