Ex-Bolton Wanderers defender Phil Brown appointed boss once more at fellow League Two club

The Shrimpers have sacked former boss Mark Moseley and installed the 61-year-old in the dugout at Roots Hall. Brown was previously boss of the Essex side between 2013 and 2018.

The right-back played more than 250 times for Wanderers between 1988 and 1994, later also becoming assistant boss to Colin Todd and being caretaker at the Reebok Stadium after Todd left the club.
