Trainspotting star Ewan has revealed she’s helped write a “deeply personal” script and her dad has been involved with the movie.

The story, about a daughter forced into a road trip with her estranged father as he drives her to rehab, has meant she has been working closely with Ewan, who played Obi-Wan Kenobi in the Star Wars prequels.

Clara, a former model who conquered an addiction to pills herself and had a much publicised rift with her dad after he split with his wife, Clara’s mum Eve Mavrakis, said: “As a family we all get along really well and share very similar interests. “We love films, and collaborating as a family has always been a dream and it’s starting to realise itself.
