Eurovision fans confused as Ben Adams from A1 appears during show
manchestereveningnews.co.ukEurovision fans were scratching their heads as they spotted a familiar face. As the results came in during the grand final hosted by the UK for Ukraine a famous face stood out to them.
Ben Adams from late 90s and early noughties pop band A1 appeared on screen to return the vote for Norway. Viewers were left wondering why the singer had this role as he spoke to presenters Graham Norton and Hannah Waddingham.
Radio One presenter Dean McCullough asked: "What's Ben Adams off of A1 fame doing in Norway?" READ MORE: Join the FREE Manchester Evening News WhatsApp community Rosie cheered: "YES BEN ADAMS!!!" and a surprised Ciara Lawrence wrote: "Ben Adams from A1 I had a crush on him once years ago." Ben already has a place in Eurovision history because he appeared at the contest last year as part of the British-Norwegian group Subwoolfer.
Their song Give That Wolf A Banana gained a cult following. The mystery of the people behind the masks garnered lots of attention.
