Morrissey has announced a pair of outdoor UK headline shows for this summer – find all the details below.The soloist and former Smiths frontman is due to perform at Crystal Palace Park in south London on Sunday, July 9 before heading to Millennium Square in Leeds the following Wednesday (July 12).Morrissey will be joined by special guests The Slow Readers Club in Leeds. It’s not yet known who’ll support the singer at the London concert.Tickets for both dates go on general sale at 10am GMT this Friday (March 10) – you’ll be able to buy yours here.

The live-action hybrid stop-motion film recently picked up the Annie Award for indie feature as well as two other awards. Jenny Slate won the voice acting prize for her performance as Marcel while Slate, Dean Fleischer Camp, Nick Paley and Elizabeth Holm won for feature writing. Camp called on animation director Kirsten Lepore to help merge the worlds of animation and live-action. As Oscar voting closes on Tuesday, Camp and Lepore discussed bringing Marcel to life, collaborating and the film’s reception. Kirsten Lepore: I’ve had many texts and calls from friends who said that that was the first movie that their kids had ever seen in a movie theater. It was so wild and an honor.

Nicki Minaj has revealed that she will launch her own label in the new feature, confirming the first names on her roster and outlining plans for the label to represent a wide variety of music beyond hip-hop and rap. Minaj broke the news on her Queen Radio show for Amazon Music’s AMP platform on March 3, NME reports. The label's name hasn't been revealed but Minaj said it will be a subsidiary of Republic Records.

Tyler Perry is in talks to purchase a majority stake of BET Media Group amid reports that parent company Paramount Global is exploring a sale of the asset, Variety has confirmed. Perry currently owns a minority stake in the operation run by CEO Scott Mills, which includes cablers BET and VH1, and also produces a large portion of the programming available on BET and streamer BET+, which he helped launch in 2019. Also among BET’s divisions is production company BET Studios, which counts Kenya Barris, Rashida Jones and Aaron Rahsaan Thomas as minority stake holders. Perry and BET have a long history, as the network helped fund his first feature, 2005’s “Diary of a Mad Black Woman.” In 2017, Perry endeavored on a long-term film deal with Paramount, with a TV deal that began in May 2020. The partnership has been a lucrative and successful endeavor for Perry, Paramount Global president and CEO Bob Bakish and BET Networks president Scott Mills.
