Ukraine won Eurovision 2022 in a historic evening in Turin. Folk-rap group Kalush Orchestra’s Stefania claimed the top prize after securing a huge number of points in the public vote, with the UK's Sam Ryder second.
Ryder was leading the points at the halfway stage after the jury vote, picking up the most amount of points by a UK act for decades.
Sam Ryder had picked up 283 points in the jury vote - 25 ahead of nearest rivals at the halfway stage, Sweden. But Ukraine won over 400 in the public vote to secure a huge 631 points and win the title.
