Emmerdale fans relieved as heartbroken Charity rumbles Mack and Chloe's secret

Emmerdale fans were left feeling relieved on Thursday, as the truth about Mackenzie (Mack) Boyd and Chloe Harris’ romance was finally discovered by Mack’s wife Charity Dingle.

The couple famously hooked up last year while Charity and Mack were suffering in the aftermath of a devastating break-up, but a one night stand was all it took for Chloe to fall pregnant with Mack’s baby.Throughout the course of her pregnancy, Chloe had always maintained she was just a single mum without the baby’s dad in the picture, but having revealed the truth about the baby to Mack, the pair have been silently supporting each other behind the scenes, all the while Mack was planning his wedding to Charity.

Last month, on the day of his wedding to Charity, Chloe gave birth to a baby boy named Reuben, but neither Chloe nor Mack have ever revealed the truth about the little one’s true father to Charity.

As regular fans will know however, Chloe and Mack have recently been dogged by worry, after their newborn little boy fell ill with bacterial meningitis and has been fighting for his life in intensive care.
