Naomi Campbell off the hook when she turned up nearly an hour late to a fashion show in Paris. Despite the Louis Vuitton show at the Louvre starting 45 minutes late, Campbell was still turned away from her seat when she arrived 15 minutes later.

But rather than throwing a strop, the 52-year-old, who’s well versed in Fashion Week etiquette after her long career on the catwalk, patiently watched the show from the sides before posing happily for photographs in her two-tone metallic trench coat, right.

The show was attended by a cluster of other famous faces, including singer Janet Jackson and shoe designer Christian Louboutin, and everyone was laughing and joking about the incident afterwards.

This isn’t the first time Naomi has taken being fashionably late to extremes. Joanna Lumley once recalled how the model received a telling-off for appearing three hours late to perform a cameo role in sitcom Absolutely Fabulous!Among those nominated for non-affiliated peerages by Boris Johnson is Guglielmo Verdirame KC. He just happens to be in a relationship with Carrie Johnson’s best friend in politics, Henry Newman.
