Greyson Chance spoke out with claims against Ellen DeGeneres, who helped raise his profile with many appearances on her talk show over the years.
Now, sources close to her are responding. After Greyson went viral at the age of 12 for singing Lady Gaga‘s “Paparazzi” at school, he appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and was signed as the first artist on Ellen‘s record label. Greyson says that Ellen became “really invested” in his career, but also “became domineering and way too controlling.” When his music started to underperform and ticket sales dropped by 2012, she reportedly disappeared and became “completely removed.” He went on to say he was “completely abandoned” by the talk show host. “I’ve never met someone more manipulative, more self-centered, and more blatantly opportunistic than her,” he added.
