Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.
Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.
Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

dailyrecord.co.ukPolice have launched an investigation after an elderly woman was assaulted in Troon on Halloween.Officers are appealing for information after a man- described as 5ft10 and wearing dark clothing- demanded money from a 76-year-old woman before assaulting her and running off.The incident took place on Wood Road in Troon at around 7pm on Monday, October 31.Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have any information is urged to call police on 101.A police spokesperson said: “Officers are appealing for information after a 76-year-old woman was assaulted on Wood Road, Troon around 7pm on Monday, 31 October, 2022.“The male suspect demanded money before assaulting the woman and running off.“The suspect is described as 5ft 10ins tall and was wearing dark clothing.“Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any information which could assist our investigation should call police via 101, quoting incident number 2612 of 27 November, 2022.”For the latest news and breaking news visit our website.
