Eight-person brawl being probed by police after two-vehicle crash in Carnoustie

Tayside Police are probing a mass brawl on a street in Carnoustie. The shocking incident involved eight people and was triggered following a two vehicle crash.

The flare-up happened at the junction of Church Street and Carlogie Road at around 6.45pm on Tuesday. Police are trying to trace a white vehicle being driven by a woman that also had male passengers in it.Inspector Grant McGaughay told Dundee Live: “The two vehicles involved in the crash have been traced and we are following a positive line of enquiry.“We are also looking to trace a white vehicle which was seen near the incident and was being driven by a female with male occupants within.“I am appealing to anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident and witnessed what happened or anyone in the area with dash cam or private CCTV footage to get in touch.”- Anyone with information should call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident 2810 of 21 June. **Don't miss the latest headlines from around Dundee and Tayside.
