Edinburgh residents asked said they felt their home was a safe place to live. Less than one in ten adults in the Scottish capital said that they have been a victim of crime, with just 16 per cent experiencing crime in any way.
Nearly 90 per cent of people living in Edinburgh generally felt safe.
