Ed Sheeran

Edward Christopher Sheeran, MBE (born 17 February 1991) is an English singer-songwriter. In early 2011, Sheeran independently released the extended play, No. 5 Collaborations Project. After signing with Asylum Records, his debut album, + (pronounced "plus"), was released in September 2011. It topped the UK and Australian charts, reached number five in the US, and has since been certified eight-times platinum in the UK.

The album contains the single "The A Team", which earned him the Ivor Novello Award for Best Song Musically and Lyrically. In 2012, Sheeran won the Brit Awards for Best British Male Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act. "The A Team" was nominated for Song of the Year at the 2013 Grammy Awards, where he performed the song with Elton John.

Ed Sheeran Teases New Album, Reveals What It Will Sound Like

Ed Sheeran is spilling on new music! It’s been just over a year since the 33-year-old musician released an album, but only a couple weeks since he released a new song. Ed‘s most recent track is “Under the Tree” from the new Netflix movie That Christmas, which debuted last week.

In a new interview, the “Shivers” singer teased new music, his next album and the direction his sound is going in. Keep reading to find out more… “It feels like I’m getting back into big pop for the first time in a long time,” Ed revealed to Variety. “It’s quite exciting.” He also shared his next album is already finished, he’s filmed two music videos and he has two more planned for early next year!

Towards the end of January, Ed will head back out on tour to start his next run of The Mathematics Tour shows!

The tour, which started in 2022 and is set to end in September 2025, is one of the 10 highest grossing tours of all time. Did you see the two hit songs that Ed almost didn’t release?!
