EastEnders star Nigel Harman has a surprise new career 17 years after shock soap exit

FORMER EastEnders star Nigel Harman has revealed his surprise new career 17 years after he was killed off on the soap. The actor - who played Dennis Rickman in Albert Square from 2003-2005 - has become a meditation expert, regularly offering fans advice and tips on how to stay mindful.

The 49-year-old meditation coach believes in "making mindfulness simple and accessible for all". He has branded himself the Meditating Actor and has his own website which provides workshops, guided meditations, classes and sports rehabilitation meditation.

The website reads: "His teaching approach offers meditation in a way that makes it fun for people to learn and experience the joy of this moment, right here." The TV favourite continued: "I started meditating over a decade ago and I’ve felt the positive impact it has had on my life and on those around me.
