EastEnders' Kyle Slater actor Riley Carter looks worlds away from first appearance on soap

Riley made his acting debut in 2015 and starred in the hit BBC show for a year as Kyle Slater – making history as the first trans actor to play a trans character in a British soap.
Since leaving the show, Riley has shed several pounds and looks fitter and healthier than ever. In a snap shared on Instagram, the actor posted two photos next to one another to demonstrate the difference.
He penned next to the snaps: “You can't go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending." Riley also shared a clip back in 2020 of him wearing a vest and shorts as he showcased his toned physique.
As well and undergoing an undeniably impressive transformation since leaving EastEnders, Riley has recently returned to our screens in Channel 4’s prison drama, Screw.
