EastEnders favourite leaves after four years in dramatic exit storyline

EASTENDERS star Gurlaine Kaur Garcha is leaving the soap after four years. The actress - who plays Ash Panesar in the BBC soap - will exit in the coming weeks in a lowkey storyline, The Sun can exclusively reveal.

A source said: “Gurlaine’s loved her time on the show but she’s ready to try new things. “She’s had an incredible three years on the soap and made some great friends. “She’ll film her final scenes in the coming months and in typical EastEnders style it will be unmissable.” She joined the soap as the bisexual doctor in 2019 and was an immediate hit.
