Eamonn Holmes has returned to TV screens for the first time since Phillip Schofield quit This Morning. The GB News Presenter, who previously presented the ITV show alongside his wife Ruth Langsford, appeared on tonight's episode of The Chase Celebrity Special alongside actor Danny John-Jones, radio presenter Yinka Bokinni and Olympian Tom Bosworth.

The special was, as always, hosted by Bradley Walsh – who is one of the frontrunners to replace Phillip on the daytime programme.

Filmed previous to Phillip's shocking departure from the show, Eamonn managed to rack up an impressive £6,000 in the cash builder.

He took Jenny Ryan's offer of £143,000 but failed to rejoin his team for the final chase. Eamonn originally left This Morning two years ago as him and Ruth were replaced by Dermot O'Leary and Alison Hammond.
