Happy Valley just gets better and better each week and after last night's episode, fans were left on the edge of their seats.

The fourth episode of the third season aired last night and fans of the show reckon that Sergeant Catherine Cawood and Tommy Lee Royce will meet one last time before the end of the third and final season.

At the start of the series, Catherine came across the remains of a gangland murder victim in a drained reservoir and a series of unfortunate events has once again led her back to Tommy, who is the dad of her grandson Ryan and her late daughter's rapist, writes The Manchester Evening News.Tommy was initially in the frame for committing the historical crime, however, Catherine received a tip-off from her colleague which led her to discover that Ryan had been visiting his dad.

And to add insult to injury, it was her sister Clare, who was facilitating Ryan's visits to see his dad along with her partner Neil.Following this discovery, Catherine confronts her sister in a tense scene which fans have said is the best TV they have watched.And in last night's episode, Tommy staged a highly dramatic break-out with the help of his gangland associates.
