St Mirren Academy talent Dylan Reid has completed his impressive switch to English Premier League side Crystal Palace.The 17-year-old's contract with St Mirren was set to expire in the summer, with the club only due a less substantial fee if he'd moved to England once a free agent.The Saints instead sanctioned a move to the Eagles, with the teenager joining them on a three-and-a-half year deal for an undisclosed fee with significant add-ons and a sell-on fee already agreed.St Mirren boss Stephen Robinson explained: "Dylan is a kid with great potential and someone who I would have liked to have worked with more, but it was a very good deal for the football club and an ongoing deal that could rise."It’s huge credit to the Academy and Allan McManus and his staff.
