Dundee United bosses have confirmed that next weekend’s crunch match with Aberdeen will be used as a covid passport test event.

They said the game on Saturday, November 20 will be seen as ‘an opportunity to test’ the club’s operational processes. However, they were quick to reassure fans that no-one will be refused entry for failing to provide proof of their vaccination status.

But they hope the match will ultimately help make it safe, quick, and easy for supporters for upcoming home fixtures that will require covid passports to be in use.On game day, stewards will accept both paper and digital versions of supporters’ vaccination status.Any fans who have a covid passport app are asked to arrive with it open on their device to assist
