Drunk Paisley dad assaults paramedic after falling into a bus lane

A Paisley dad tried to punch and head-butt a paramedic who was helping him after he’d fallen into a bus lane.Kevin McGregor, 31, fell into a bus lane injuring his face on June 16, but when paramedics came to his aid, he was foul-mouthed and aggressive towards them.McGregor attempted to assault paramedic David O’Hara by trying to punch and head-butt him. Prosecuting, Tracy Wright told Paisley Sheriff Court that at the time of the incident which occurred in the Accident and Emergency ward in the Royal Alexandra Hospital, the corridor was “extremely busy” with “numerous patients and paramedics.”Ms Wright explained: “Around 8.40pm on June 16, Mr O’Hara was on duty in his capacity as ambulance crew.“He was actioned to attend the Nationwide bank in Paisley as the accused had fallen into a bus lane causing minor injuries to his face.“While being transported to hospital, the accused became aggressive to ambulance staff and while within the hospital began to shout at the public telling them to, ’F**k off’ and ‘get to f**k.’“The accused stated to O’Hara, ‘Do you want a square go?’ before throwing a punch at him but no contact was made.“Police were in attendance at the hospital for another matter and the accused then tried to headbutt O’Hara.“McGregor was arrested and began shouting at police officers, ‘Take these cuffs off and you’ll see what happens,’ and ‘Moan out to this car park and I’ll end you.’“The accused also stated, ‘You’re for it,
