Drug dealer exploited town's most vulnerable residents to make thousands of pounds

A prolific drug dealer cuckooed vulnerable people in a Cheshire town. Michael Edwards would use their homes to stash his supply of heroin and cocaine which he sold in and around Winsford.

Police described Edwards as a "key player" in the distribution of Class A drugs in the area. He would collect his supply from Liverpool at least twice a week.

He was arrested in June after officers executed a drugs warrant at his home on Pinewood Road, Winsford. 155 wraps of heroin and 238 wraps of cocaine valued at £3,940 were seized by officers during the warrant.
