Drowning tragedy as heartbroken Scots family pay tribute to 11-year-old who is second water victim in 24 hours

another drowning tragedy have paid an emotional tribute to the 'lovely young boy'. The 11-year-old victim, named by family members and friends as Dean Irvine, died after getting into difficulty at a Scots park last night.

He is believed to have been playing with friends at Alexander Hamilton Memorial Park in Stonehouse, South Lanarkshire, when he fell into the water.

A huge search was launched after the alarm was raised at around 4.30pm yesterday.Tragically he was pronounced dead at the scene.Devastated auntie, Jade Law, announced the tragedy on social media saying she would 'love him forever'.She wrote: "Rest in peace little man.
