Earlier this week, Hugh was asked in a Wired video interview about if he is really singing in the movie, to which he replied that he is, but there’s a bit more to it. Keep reading to find out more… “I’m auto-tuned beyond belief,” Hugh added on to the answer after being asked.
While he admits to being “auto-tuned”, he clarified that it was just “a bit, but not as much as some. Drew Barrymore was in that film with me and I don’t think she’d mind me saying her singing is just horrendous.” He then added, “I’ve heard dogs bark better than she sings.” Following his now viral comments, Drew chose to respond to him in the best way – by singing and proving just how well she could sing after all. Drew shared a clip of her singing “Way Back Into Love,” which is the song from the movie, and addresses him specifically afterwards: “Oh Hugh, Bert, Hubert, that’s for you.” Earlier this week, Hugh was under fire for a different interview.
