East Lothian.The RNLI volunteer is now set to star in a BBC film showcasing the bravery of the UK’s lifeboat crews.Becs who works from the Dunbar station has risked her life in rough seas and freezing winds to save others.And next Tuesday she will feature in an upcoming episode of TV show Saving Lives at Sea at 8pm on BBC2.RNLI volunteer Becs will tell viewers who she took to the waves to save two people and a dog cut off by the tide near Dunbar, East Lothian.Becs said: “You never know when the pager is going to sound and that day, I was just getting ready to go out to lunch.“I’d already walked my dog on the beach and thought how choppy the sea was looking.“We were told two people and a dog had been cut off by the tide.
