More than 150 drivers are still behind the wheel in Scotland despite having 12 or more points on their license, figures show.
Almost 190,000 Scots have points according to DVLA data obtained by the Scottish Lib Dems. And one motorist has managed to keep driving despite having a whopping 23 points on their license.Liz Reilly, the party's transport spokeswoman, has questioned whether repeat offenders are being properly dealt with."For the safety of everyone driving home for Christmas it’s important that repeat offenders and wild drivers are kept off the roads," the Lib Dem said."It’s possible that there are mitigating factors in some cases which justify these drivers hanging on to their right to drive."However, 12 points or more would seem
