Distraught Jay begs Lola not to die yet as time runs out in EastEnders
msn.comLola Pearce’s (Danielle Harold) condition has significantly deteriorated in EastEnders recently, with nurse Suzanne informing Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick that she will now likely be unconscious for a lot of the time she has left.
She told Lola’s heartbroken husband that now was the time for family and friends to start saying their goodbyes, as it was unlikely Lola would live much longer.
Lola has been living with an incurable brain tumour since November, and has undergone treatment to prolong her life. However, it was recently discovered that the treatment had stopped working, and none of the palliative treatment she then received had helped to stop the tumour spreading.
This left Lola with just weeks left to live, leaving the family completely devastated. She thanked her for being a good friend and promised to look out for Lexi.
