Disney+ & Hulu Reveal Release Date For Ad-Supported Tier; Pricing Increases Will Start This Fall

Get ready for another price increase for Disney+ and Hulu. Announced earlier this year, Disney+ is about to launch its ad-supported version in December, and as a result, the price will be going up for the ad-free Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+. Click inside to read all the details about the increase for the streamers… Here’s the breakdown in the price increase: On December 8, Disney+ with ads will cost $7.99 a month, which is the same price that Disney+ currently costs, without ads.

On that date, the premium, ad-free version of Disney+ will now cost $10.99 a month or $109.99 a year. This is a $30 yearly increase.

In addition, Hulu will also increase their prices for both its ad-supported and ad-free tier beginning on October 10.

The ad-supported tier, which currently costs $6.99 a month ($69.99 a year) will now be $7.99 a month. The ad-free tier, currently $12.99 a month, will be bumped up to $14.99 a month.
