A police officer has been sacked after he underpaid for a packet of Jaffa Cakes by 90p. The West Yorkshire Police constable was put before a misconduct hearing on Thursday (October 14), which ruled that his behaviour constituted gross misconduct, Yorkshire Live reports.
PC Chris Dwyer is said to have put 10p into a charity tin when he went to purchase two packets of Jaffa Cakes priced at 50p each, which were on sale at a confectionary stall in Halifax Police Station set up to raise funds for a charity trip to Uganda.
