Discovery+ Inks First Pay TV Deal, Will Launch on Comcast's Xfinity Flex

Discovery, led by CEO David Zaslav, and Comcast said on Thursday that streaming service Discovery+ has launched on the cable giant's Xfinity Flex broadband-only service.

It will also begin its rollout on Comcast's X1 pay TV platform "in the coming weeks," giving subscribers "access to more great Discovery programming over the internet alongside all the live and on-demand content they get as part of their TV subscription." Financial details weren't disclosed.

Berlinale Festival Reports 54 COVID Cases at Mid-Point
