A dad was tragically killed when his vehicle was struck by another motorist who drove for almost five miles the wrong way down the road after suffering from a "hypoglycemic event".

Christopher Paul Jones, known fondly as Paul, was pronounced dead at the scene on the carriageway, an inquest heard on January 19.

Paul, aged 40, described by those who knew him as "thoughtful, very kind and generous", was travelling home on the A55 between Llanfairfechan and Talybont, in Wales, from a dance class when the accident occurred in February 2018.

North Wales Live reports that the driver of the other vehicle John Keith Williams, who has diabetes, told the hearing in Caernarfon that he had "no recollection" of the collision.
