DENISE Van Outen has announced that she has QUIT Dancing On Ice due to her ongoing shoulder injury. The 46-year-old star admitted that she was "gutted" to have made the decision after dislocating her shoulder before the series launched.

However, a recent MRI scan has shown that her injury was more severe than initially thought, and she'd been powering through with multiple bone fractures as well as the dislocation.

Denise opened up about her ordeal in an Instagram post today as she shared a photo of herself alongside pro partner Matt Evers, with her arm in a sequin red sling.

She wrote: "GUTTED! If you’ve been watching @dancingonice you will be aware that just over a week ago I had a nasty fall and injured my shoulder. "I managed to skate.
