He almost scored within seconds of coming on but Allan McGregor denied him a memorable moment from close range.For Lennon, it was his second outing in claret and amber after a debut in the League Cup win over Inverness in August but he made his maiden league bow in front of 50,000, playing the final 24 minutes.Both produced composed performances in an intimidating environment and McGinn admits he could only have dreamed of being in their position when he was starting out in the game.He said: “It’s unbelievable.
