Dame Deborah James has confessed she's too afraid to sleep two weeks after announcing she's receiving end-of-life care at her parents' house in Woking, Surrey.

The 40 year old, who has been courageously battling bowel cancer for five years, shared last week that her body is "just not playing ball" in a heartbreaking farewell post.

Since then, she's been keeping busy raising awareness for cancer through fundraising, which has already reached £6.5million.

Now, Deborah has shared an update on her health, explaining that the "truth is, I don’t know how long I’ve got left," adding that she feels exhausted. “I don’t feel like I’m on my deathbed," she insisted to The Sun. “I’m not planning on dying anytime soon but it’s just so unpredictable."
