Ryan Reynolds
Ryan Rodney Reynolds (born October 23, 1976) is a Canadian actor, comedian, film producer and entrepreneur. He began his career starring in the Canadian teen soap opera Hillside (1991–1993) and had minor roles before landing the lead role on the sitcom Two Guys and a Girl between 1998 and 2001. Reynolds then starred in a range of films, including comedies such as National Lampoon's Van Wilder (2002), Waiting... (2005), and The Proposal (2009). He also performed in dramatic roles in Buried (2010), Woman in Gold (2015), and Life (2017), and starred in action films such as Blade: Trinity (2004), Deadpool (2016), and 6 Underground (2019).

DC Comics' 'Green Lantern' to Get a TV Series at HBO Max!

HBO Max has officially given the greenlight to a Green Lantern series! The television series will be based on the popular DC Comics property, which was previously turned into a 2011 movie starring Ryan Reynolds.

The series will be co-written and executive produced by Seth Grahame-Smith and Marc Guggenheim, with the former serving as showrunner. Marc co-wrote the 2011 movie and he previously was the showrunner of DC shows Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow.

Variety reports that “the show will depict the adventures of a multitude of Lanterns, including Guy Gardner, Jessica Cruz, Simon Baz and Alan Scott — Earth’s first Green Lantern, who, true to the comics, is a gay man — and many more.” The series will also “introduce new heroes to the ranks of
